Rangemaster Professional Plus 90 FX & FXP Range Cookers
Shop Rangemaster Professional Plus 90 FX and FXP range cookers in dual fuel and induction configurations. These 90cm freestanding cookers use Rangemaster's removable Energy Saving Panel to give you a large multifunction oven when you need the space and a smaller cooking area for everyday meals. Choose the Professional+ FX with gas or induction hob cooking, or the dual fuel Professional+ FXP if you also want pyrolytic oven cleaning.
Compare Rangemaster Professional+ 90 FX and FXP models
The current range comes down to three main configurations rather than twelve fundamentally different cookers. Most of the listings are colour variants, so the most important decisions are whether you want gas or induction hob cooking and whether pyrolytic self-cleaning is worth stepping up to the FXP.

| Professional+ 90 FX Dual Fuel | Five-burner gas hob with multi-ring wok burner | Standard cleaning | 114L declared multifunction oven with removable Energy Saving Panel; approximately 49L cooking area with the panel fitted | Cream, Cranberry, Black, Slate and Stainless Steel |
| Professional+ 90 FX Induction | Five induction zones with Power Boost and two low-temperature settings | Standard cleaning | 114L declared multifunction oven with removable Energy Saving Panel; approximately 49L cooking area with the panel fitted | Cranberry, Black and Stainless Steel |

What does the Rangemaster Energy Saving Panel do?
The defining feature of the Professional+ 90 FX and FXP is the removable Energy Saving Panel. Fit the panel when you are preparing a smaller meal and only part of the large oven needs to be heated. Rangemaster specifies an approximately 49-litre cooking area with the panel fitted. Remove it when you need the full-width multifunction oven for large roasting dishes, batch baking or several trays.
The panel and the shelves that are not being used can be stored in the full-width drawer beneath the oven. With the panel fitted, residual heat from the active side can also take the chill off plates in the unused section.
Rangemaster Professional+ FX vs FXP
The main reason to choose the Professional+ FXP rather than the standard FX is pyrolytic cleaning. During the pyrolytic programme, the oven operates at a high temperature to reduce baked-on cooking residue to ash. The oven door locks during the cleaning cycle, and the remaining residue can be wiped away afterwards.
The standard Professional+ FX keeps the same flexible Energy Saving Panel concept without pyrolytic cleaning and gives you a wider choice of hob technology. It is available in both dual fuel and induction versions, whereas the current FXP is dual fuel.
Dual fuel or induction?
Professional+ FX and FXP dual fuel
Choose dual fuel if you prefer cooking over gas while retaining an electric multifunction oven. The five-burner hob includes a high-output multi-ring burner for wok cooking, cast iron pan supports and an included teppanyaki-style griddle. A suitable gas supply and electrical connection are required.
Professional+ FX induction
The induction FX replaces the gas burners with five electrically powered induction zones. Power Boost gives selected zones additional heat when you need rapid heating, while two low-temperature settings are useful for controlled tasks such as melting or gentle simmering. Compatible magnetic cookware is required.
Dimensions and installation
Professional+ 90 FX and FXP cookers are freestanding 900mm-wide appliances with an adjustable height of approximately 905–930mm. Standard FX models measure approximately 608mm deep excluding their handles and 642mm including them. FXP dimensions differ slightly, so always use the installation information for the exact product code before cabinetry, worktops, gas connections or electrical supplies are finalised.
The induction FX has a substantially higher electrical demand than a dual fuel model, so the existing electrical supply should be checked by a suitably qualified installer before ordering. Dual fuel versions also require an appropriate gas connection. Do not assume that an existing standard cooker connection is suitable without checking the exact model specification.
Which Rangemaster Professional+ 90 should you choose?
- Choose the FX Dual Fuel if you want gas hob control, the flexible Energy Saving Panel oven and the broadest current choice of colours.
- Choose the FX Induction if you prefer a smooth induction hob with Power Boost and low-temperature cooking settings.
- Choose the FXP Dual Fuel if you want gas hob cooking but would also value pyrolytic self-cleaning.
Rangemaster Professional+ 90 FX & FXP FAQs
What is the difference between Rangemaster Professional+ FX and FXP?
The FXP adds pyrolytic self-cleaning. The standard 90 FX is available with either dual fuel or induction cooking, while the current 90 FXP is dual fuel. Both use the removable Energy Saving Panel and a large multifunction oven.
Can I buy a Rangemaster Professional Plus FX with induction?
Yes. The Professional+ 90 FX is currently available with a five-zone induction hob. It includes Power Boost, hot-hob indicators and two low-temperature settings. The FXP is currently a dual fuel model rather than an induction model.
How large is the Professional+ 90 FX oven?
Current Rangemaster documentation specifies a 114-litre oven volume. The removable Energy Saving Panel creates an approximately 49-litre cooking area when the full oven is unnecessary.
Does the Rangemaster Professional+ FXP clean itself?
The FXP has a pyrolytic cleaning programme. It heats the oven to a high temperature to reduce cooking residue to ash, which can then be wiped away after the cleaning cycle has finished and the oven has cooled.
How wide is a Rangemaster Professional+ 90 FX or FXP?
These models are 900mm wide. Height and depth should also be checked against the specification for the exact product code, particularly because FX and FXP depths are not identical.
What warranty comes with a Rangemaster Professional+ range cooker?
Rangemaster currently provides a two-year manufacturer's warranty for cooking appliances when the product is registered within 30 days of delivery. Extended promotional warranties can have separate eligibility requirements, so check the terms for the exact model rather than assuming every Rangemaster range cooker qualifies.
