With two multifunction electric ovens offering a combined capacity of 135 litres, the Professional+ FX 100 provides substantial space for preparing multiple dishes. The 80-litre left-hand oven offers 7 cooking functions, while the 55-litre right-hand oven provides 5 functions.

The fully programmable left-hand oven includes two flat wire shelves and a deluxe oven tray with trivet. The tray is designed to slide directly onto the oven ladders, allowing you to make use of the full width of the cavity. Five shelf levels provide additional flexibility.

Left-Hand Oven Cooking Functions

Fan oven: Operates the fan and surrounding heating element to produce even heat throughout the oven. It is suitable for cooking large quantities quickly and is particularly useful for multi-shelf cooking. When preheating, wait until the indicator light has gone out before adding food.

Fanned grilling: Operates the fan while the top element is on, producing a more even and less fierce heat than a conventional grill. It is suitable for thicker pieces of meat or fish. Food should be placed on the supplied pan, the oven door should remain closed during cooking and this function should be preheated before use.

Fan-assisted oven: Circulates air heated by the top and base elements. This combination of fan and conventional top and base heat is well suited to larger items that require thorough cooking, such as a large meat roast. Two shelves can be used at once, although their positions should be swapped during cooking because heat is greater towards the top of the oven.

Conventional cooking: Combines heat from the top and base elements and is particularly suitable for roasting, pastry, cakes and biscuits. Food on the upper shelf will brown and crisp more quickly than food lower in the oven. Similar items may need to be moved during cooking for more even results, while foods requiring different temperatures can make use of the cooler lower area and hotter upper area.

Browning element: Uses the top oven element only and is designed for browning or finishing already-hot dishes such as pasta bakes, vegetables in sauce and lasagne.

Base heat: Uses the base element only. It can crisp pizza or quiche bases, finish the base of pastry cases and provide gentle heat for slow-cooked casseroles or plate warming.

Defrost: Uses the fan to circulate cold air without applying heat. With the temperature control set to 0°C, it can help defrost smaller items such as desserts, cream cakes and pieces of meat, fish or poultry. Meat, fish and poultry should be placed on a shelf over a tray to catch drips, with both cleaned after use. The oven door should remain closed. Large items such as whole chickens and meat roasts should be defrosted in a refrigerator, and dairy foods, meat and poultry should be completely defrosted before cooking.

The 55-litre right-hand electric oven offers five cooking functions and comes with two flat shelves, five shelf levels, plus a grill pan and trivet.
