Built-In Cooling Sizes and Installation

Built-in refrigeration is available in compact and built-under sizes, conventional tall formats and larger integrated appliances. Widths and niche heights vary, so descriptions such as 60cm wide or full height are not sufficient for installation planning.

Fixed Hinge or Sliding Hinge?

Integrated refrigeration can use different furniture-door systems. A sliding-hinge appliance uses separate hinges for the furniture door and appliance door, connected by sliding fittings. A fixed-hinge or door-on-door appliance carries the furniture front directly on the appliance door.

The systems are not automatically interchangeable. When replacing an existing integrated fridge, freezer or fridge freezer, identify the existing furniture-door arrangement and check the installation instructions for the replacement appliance.

Door Direction and Panel-Ready Refrigeration
