Rangemaster Classic 90, 100 or 110?

The three Classic sizes are not simply wider versions of exactly the same cooker. The oven configuration changes as you move through the range, so choose according to both your available space and the way you cook.

Rangemaster Classic 90

The Classic 90 is 900mm wide and combines an 80-litre fan oven with a separate 67-litre tall fan oven and dedicated grill. It provides two independently usable ovens while retaining a nominal 90cm footprint. This makes it the logical starting point when the kitchen has a 90cm cooker opening but you still want separate roasting, baking and grilling spaces.

Rangemaster Classic 100

The Classic 100 is 994mm wide. It keeps the same 80-litre main fan oven but increases the tall oven to 82 litres. That additional vertical capacity is useful for multi-shelf cooking, batch baking and preparing several dishes at the same time.

Rangemaster Classic 110

The Classic 110 is 1092mm wide and uses a different layout. Instead of a tall oven, it provides two 80-litre fan ovens, plus the separate grill and a 25-litre full-width storage drawer below. It is the strongest choice in the standard Classic range when two similarly sized ovens are more useful than a tall secondary cavity.

Dual fuel or induction?

All current Classic models use electric ovens. The main fuel decision therefore concerns the hob.

Rangemaster Classic dual fuel cookers

Dual fuel models combine gas hob cooking with electric fan ovens. Current models use cast-iron pan supports, single-handed ignition and a high-output multi-ring wok burner. The Classic 90 and 100 use five gas cooking zones, while the wider Classic 110 provides six.

Choose dual fuel if you specifically prefer cooking over a visible gas flame and already have, or can provide, the required gas and electrical connections. Installation should be completed by appropriately qualified installers.

Rangemaster Classic induction cookers

Induction models use five cooking zones with nine power levels, Power Boost and low-temperature settings for gentler tasks. The smooth glass surface is easier to wipe down than individual gas burners and pan supports, but compatible magnetic cookware is required.

Check the electrical requirements of the exact model before ordering. A range cooker has substantially different electrical requirements from a normal plug-in appliance, so the existing kitchen supply should not be assumed to be suitable.

Classic oven and grill layout

Every current Rangemaster Classic includes an 80-litre left-hand fan oven and a separate 2.3kW Flexi-Grill. The grill has a wider pan, four height settings and a lie-flat glass door. A telescopic runner in the left-hand oven makes it easier to pull a tray forward when checking food.

On the 90cm and 100cm models, the second oven is a tall fan oven with multiple shelf positions. The 110cm replaces this with a second 80-litre fan oven and adds a full-width storage drawer for trays and tins.

Rangemaster Classic colours

The refreshed Classic range is currently produced in four colours with Chrome trim:

The colour does not change the fundamental cooking specification, so it is usually best to choose the cooker size and fuel type first and then select the finish.

Classic design and controls

The current Classic retains the range's recognisable baker-style oven windows while introducing square-edge doors, larger viewing windows, uniform rotary controls and a white LED touch display. Rangemaster also uses a self-adjusting magnetic plinth and updated door seals on the refreshed construction.

Classic versus Classic Deluxe and Classic 90 FX

Classic is the standard multi-oven range available in 90cm, 100cm and 110cm widths. It is the right range to compare if you want straightforward fan ovens, a separate grill and traditional Rangemaster styling.

Classic Deluxe is a separate, higher-specification family. It adds more specialised cooking features and a broader choice of finishes, so it should not be treated as another colour variation of the standard Classic.

Classic 90 FX is also a separate range. Rather than the standard Classic's permanent two-oven layout, the Classic 90 FX centres on a large adaptable 114-litre oven and removable Energy Saving Panel. Compare it separately if flexible single-cavity space is more important than having two permanently independent ovens.

Installation and dimensions

Rangemaster's 90cm, 100cm and 110cm names are nominal size classes rather than exact physical widths. Current Classic models measure 900mm, 994mm and 1092mm wide respectively.

Do not choose a cooker using the nominal width alone. Check the exact width, depth, adjustable height, gas requirements, electrical load, ventilation and surrounding clearances for the exact model before ordering.
