Bosch PIX631HC1E Series 6 60cm 4 Zone FlexInduction Hob

Bosch PIX631HC1E Series 6 60cm induction hob with 4 zones, FlexInduction, PerfectFry Plus, DirectSelect and Home Connect for flexible everyday cooking.

Flexible 4 Zone Induction Cooking

The Bosch PIX631HC1E induction hob combines four cooking zones with flexible induction technology, precise controls and connected features. Its 60cm-class black ceramic glass surface is designed for surface-mounted installation without a surrounding frame, with a faceted finish for a streamlined appearance.

FlexInduction lets you combine two cooking zones into one evenly heated area, giving you more room for larger pots, pans and roasting trays. The hob detects the size and position of compatible cookware within the flexible zone so heat is applied where it is needed.

Why choose the Bosch PIX631HC1E induction hob?

Choose the Bosch PIX631HC1E if you want a 60cm induction hob that combines flexible cooking space with precise controls and smart features. FlexInduction joins two zones into one larger cooking area, making it especially useful for bigger pans and roasting trays.

PerfectFry Plus helps control frying temperatures, while DirectSelect gives quick access to 17 power levels. Home Connect, Hob Hood Control and Smart Hood Automatic add useful connected functions, making this a strong Series 6 choice for flexible everyday cooking.

Easy Flex Zones

Easy Flex Zones make it easier to adapt the cooking area when cookware is moved. The Bosch PIX631HC1E detects the position and size of your pot or pan and automatically adjusts the cooking zone accordingly. Move the cookware to another position and its settings can be transferred to the new zone with a quick confirmation.

PerfectFry Plus Frying Sensor

PerfectFry Plus helps maintain a consistent pan temperature and reduces the risk of scorching. The frying sensor continuously measures and displays the pan temperature, with 11 preset temperature settings from 70°C to 220°C available to suit different dishes.

DirectSelect Controls

DirectSelect provides straightforward access to your chosen cooking zone, power level and additional functions. The front-positioned Multitouch+ controls and supportive lightline are designed to make selecting and adjusting cooking zones quick and intuitive.

Each zone offers 17 variable power settings, giving you precise control over the heat level. A Favourite button also provides convenient access to selected functions.

PowerBoost for Faster Heating

PowerBoost provides up to 50% more power for faster heating compared with the highest standard power level. It can be used across the cooking zones when you need to heat large quantities of water more quickly.

Pan Boost can also be selected through the Favourite button or Home Connect app.

QuickStart and Restart

QuickStart detects where a pot has been placed and automatically displays the corresponding cooking zone on the control interface, allowing you to select the required cooking level without delay.

If the hob is unintentionally switched off, Restart can restore the previous cooktop settings when the appliance is switched back on within four seconds.

Home Connect Smart Features

The Bosch PIX631HC1E is a Home Connect induction hob, providing remote monitoring and connected service features. Dish Assistant is available through the Home Connect app when the appliance is connected to a Home Connect account.

Home Connect also supports Remote Diagnostics. With your permission, Bosch customer service can remotely screen the connected appliance to help identify a problem and provide advice. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, a Bosch service technician can be informed.

Some connected features require the appliance to be linked to a Home Connect Account and SingleKey ID account via the internet. Partner services may also be required for individually configured Smart Home Trigger functions.

Hob Hood Control and Smart Hood Automatic

Hob Hood Control enables communication between the hob and a compatible cooker hood. Smart Hood Automatic can automatically adjust the power of a compatible hood according to the hob settings when both appliances support the feature and are connected through the same Home Connect account.

Timers and Cooking Convenience

The hob includes an off switch timer and a countdown timer, with the countdown timer available as an alternative to the switch-off timer. Automatic zone selection, automatic linking and separation of cooking zones, and Power Transfer provide additional flexibility while cooking.

Induction technology generates heat in the base of compatible cookware rather than heating the entire hob surface in the same way as a traditional glass-ceramic hob. This supports fast, precise cooking while helping to keep the surrounding surface cooler and easier to clean.

Safety Features

A ChildLock locks the control panel to help prevent accidental changes to settings. The Bosch PIX631HC1E also includes separate residual heat indicators, inactivity shut-off and pan or pot recognition shut-off.

Cooking Zone Configuration

The hob has four cooking zones, including two 19.0 x 23.0cm elements, one 14.5cm diameter element and one 21.0cm diameter element.

Heating element outputs are 1 x 1.6kW with 2.2kW boost, 1 x 2.5kW with 3.7kW boost, and 2 x 2.2kW with 3.7kW boost. There are no electric warming zones.

Installation details

The Bosch PIX631HC1E requires a 560 x 490-500mm worktop cut-out and a minimum worktop thickness of 16mm. It has a 7.4kW connected load and is supplied without a plug, so electrical connection must be completed by an electrician. Power management can be used to limit the maximum load for 16A, 13A or 10A installations.
