The hood offers three normal extraction speeds plus an intensive setting. The intensive speed automatically resets, while a 10-minute after-run function helps continue clearing the air after cooking.

Quiet, Efficient SilentPowerDrive Motor

Bosch’s SilentPowerDrive motor is designed to deliver powerful extraction while remaining quiet and energy-efficient. Sound power is 57 dB at the maximum normal ducted setting of 433 m³/h, rising to 68 dB when intensive extraction is selected.

Extraction or Recirculation

The Bosch DBB97DP60B can be configured for either ducted extraction or recirculation. Maximum recirculation performance is 413 m³/h at maximum normal speed and 556 m³/h on the boost setting, with sound levels of 66 dB and 72 dB respectively.

For recirculation installation, the optional DWZ1IB1J6 Long-life Clean Air recirculation kit is required and is not supplied as standard. Its dual-filter system combines a metal grease filter with a Long-life Clean Air activated carbon filter for grease and odour filtration. The Long-life Clean Air filter can be refreshed three times and can last for up to four years.

Flexible Integrated Installation

This Bosch Series 6 cooker hood is designed for flush installation within a 90cm wall cupboard and has appliance dimensions of 340 x 898 x 298 mm when configured for exhaust or recirculation installation. The required installation niche is 340 x 860 x 300 mm.

A minimum clearance of 430 mm is required above an electric hob and 650 mm above a gas hob. The hood uses a 150 mm duct outlet, includes a 1.3 m electrical supply cable with GB plug and is supplied with spacers suitable for wall cupboards up to 360 mm deep.

The integrated design also supports one-person installation with installation aids, while optional chimney extensions are available for installations where additional concealment of the exhaust pipe or other technical components is required.
