The Novy 1851 Easy 80cm vented induction hob combines a spacious induction cooking surface with an integrated duct-out extractor, creating a streamlined solution for modern kitchens. Finished in glossy black glass with a discreet metal grille, the extractor is built directly into the hob so there is no need for a separate cooker hood above the cooking area.

Integrated Duct-Out Extraction

The Novy 1851 is a duct-out vented hob designed to extract cooking vapours efficiently from the centre of the cooking surface. The integrated motor offers 9 fan speeds plus power mode, with duct-out airflow ranging from 220m³/h at minimum speed to a maximum power airflow of 610m³/h.

At maximum continuous speed, airflow reaches 520m³/h with a sound power level of 66dBA. Sound pressure is 34dBA at minimum speed, 54dBA at maximum continuous speed and 58dBA at maximum power.

This duct-out model has an A+++ extraction energy efficiency rating, together with A-rated fluid dynamic efficiency and B-rated grease filtering efficiency. Recirculation is not applicable to this model, and additional ducting is required for installation.

Four Induction Zones with Two Flexzones

The generous 80cm induction hob provides four large 240 x 210mm induction cooking zones. Each zone delivers 2100W of power, increasing to 3000W with Booster.

Two Flexzones allow neighbouring cooking zones to be connected manually, creating larger cooking areas for bigger cookware. The extra-large cooking surface is supported by useful functions including automatic pan recognition, pot move, Chef, Grill, Pause and Keep Warm functions.

The Keep Warm function operates at 70°C, while the timer system includes a timer for each zone and automatic cooking. A childproof lock, residual heat indication, safety time switch-off and automatic power revert provide additional control during everyday cooking.

Automatic Extraction and Intuitive Controls

The extractor can start automatically to remove cooking vapours while you cook. Operation is managed using slider touch controls with a red information display, helping keep control of both the induction zones and integrated ventilation straightforward.

A delayed switch-off function runs for 10 minutes, while grease filter and recirculation filter cleaning indications are also provided as part of the hob’s maintenance functions.

Glossy Black Glass Design

The Novy Easy combines glossy black glass with a metal grille for a sleek, integrated appearance. Its elegant finish is designed to optimise airflow, helping cooking vapours reach the centrally positioned extractor efficiently.

The Novy 1851 Easy vented hob supports both surface-mounted and flush installation, providing flexibility for different worktop designs. The exhaust position is on the left, with an outlet measuring 222 x 89mm.

The hob measures 800mm wide x 520mm deep x 215mm high and weighs 18.3kg. The depth of the rear cut-out opening is 55mm.

Easy Maintenance

Routine cleaning is designed to be straightforward. Accessible parts can be cleaned using a cloth and washing-up liquid, while the grille and grease filter frame are dishwasher-safe. The appliance uses one grease filter, with grease filter cleaning indication helping you keep track of maintenance.
