The Novy 1776 Pro Black Glass 80cm Induction Hob delivers flexible induction cooking in a sleek, premium design. Finished in glossy black glass with a rounded edge and white slider touch controls, this 80cm induction hob offers five cooking zones and professional functions designed to make everyday cooking easier.

Each octagonal induction zone provides 2100W of power, increasing to 3700W with the Power function. Two automatic Flexzones allow adjoining cooking zones to be linked for larger pots and pans, while automatic pan recognition helps make operation straightforward.

Flexible Cooking with Automatic Flexzones

The Novy Pro 1776 features two Flexzones. The Bridge function links two adjoining cooking zones so they can be controlled together, creating a larger cooking area for suitable large pots and pans. On the Pro range, this linking takes place automatically.

The dedicated Grill function automatically activates the Bridge function to create a larger cooking surface. Its specially adapted power distribution is designed for grilling with cast-iron cookware.

Chef and Pot Move Functions

The Chef function automatically links the Bridge zones at the touch of a button and provides preset cooking levels that can be adjusted when required. The right-hand zone is set to level 9 for intensive cooking or frying, the centre zone to level 6 for simmering, and the left-hand zone to level 4 for keeping food warm.

The Pot Move function provides additional flexibility when moving cookware between different cooking areas.

Power and Keep-Warm Functions

Every cooking zone includes a Power function that significantly increases its output, making it ideal when you need to bring a large quantity of water to the boil quickly.

The keep-warm settings help maintain a constant temperature. The Novy Pro 1776 provides temperature settings of 42°C, 70°C and 94°C, including a 42°C melting setting and additional keep-warm options at 70°C and 94°C.

InTouch Cooker Hood Control

With Novy InTouch, you can control a compatible Novy cooker hood directly from the induction hob, providing convenient operation while cooking.

Stop & Go and Cooking Timers

The Stop & Go function temporarily disables the energy supply. When the control is touched again, the previously selected power levels and timer settings are restored.

Timer functions include a standard timer, an individual timer for each zone, a count-up timer and automatic cooking. The hob also features a safety time switch-off, childproof lock and residual heat indication.

Novy 1776 Controls and Finish

The hob is operated using centrally positioned touch controls at the bottom of the cooking surface. A white information display and white slider touch controls complement the glossy black glass finish.

The Novy 1776 uses G5 induction technology and includes a main on/off switch and Wipeguard function.

Installation details

This hob measures 800 x 520 x 51mm and requires a 750 x 490mm worktop cut-out. The product casing width is 750mm, the niche depth is 600mm and the depth of the backside cut-out opening is 50mm. The glass thickness is 4mm. Electrical connection is positioned at the back, with a 230-400V, 50-60Hz supply and total electrical load of 11100W. A plug type is not provided, so electrical connection requirements should be confirmed before installation.
