Energy Efficient Washing with an A Energy Rating
The Bosch WGE03408GB achieves the highest energy efficiency rating of A on the A to G energy efficiency scale. Designed to deliver excellent cleaning results while using energy efficiently, this 8kg washing machine is a practical choice for everyday laundry.
SpeedPerfect: Reduce Washing Time by Up to 65%
When time is limited, Bosch SpeedPerfect can reduce washing time by up to 65% without compromising cleaning results. This convenient function works with most washing programmes and can be used across different load sizes and fabric types.
For example, combine SpeedPerfect with the Mixed Load programme to thoroughly wash up to 4kg of clothing in less time.
SilentPowerDrive Motor for Quiet, Reliable Performance
The SilentPowerDrive brushless motor reduces friction to deliver quieter operation and is engineered for an especially long service life. Whether you’re washing everyday clothing or tackling a larger laundry load, this durable motor helps keep noise to a minimum.
The washing machine operates at 51 dB(A) during washing and 72 dB(A) during spinning, with an airborne acoustical noise emission class of A.
AntiVibration Sidewalls for Greater Stability
Bosch AntiVibration sidewall technology provides additional stability and helps reduce vibrations during operation. Enhanced insulation also helps regulate noise, making the washing machine especially quiet, even during the spin cycle.
This thoughtful design helps create a more peaceful laundry environment without sacrificing washing performance.
Active Water Plus: Optimised Water Consumption
The Active Water Plus technology automatically adjusts water consumption according to the load size and fabric type. Built-in sensors detect the laundry load and regulate the amount of water required for efficient washing.
Ideal for both smaller and larger loads, this intelligent system helps avoid unnecessary water usage while maintaining excellent cleaning results. Depending on the load size and selected programme, water savings of up to 50% may be achieved.
Reload Function: Add Forgotten Clothes Mid-Cycle
Forgot a sock or discovered an extra T-shirt after starting the wash? The Bosch Reload function allows you to pause the programme and add or remove items during the washing cycle.
Simply press the Reload button, open the door when safe to do so, add your forgotten laundry and continue washing.
Hygiene Plus: Hygienic Cleaning Even at 40°C
The Hygiene Plus washing programme is designed to provide hygienically clean laundry by maintaining a constant wash temperature and adding an extra rinse cycle.
This specialised programme achieves a 99.99% reduction in specified common germs, even at 40°C, and is designed to help remove house dust mites.
VarioDrum: Gentle Yet Thorough Fabric Care
The innovative Bosch VarioDrum features a unique, patented drum structure designed to wash clothing gently and effectively.
Its droplet-shaped drum design and asymmetrical paddles distribute water evenly and gently guide laundry towards the centre, regardless of the direction of rotation. This helps protect delicate garments against stretching, creasing and damage while providing thorough cleaning for more heavily soiled clothing.
Super Quick 15/30: Convenient Short Wash Programmes
For occasions when you need clean clothes sooner, the Super Quick 30 programme delivers a thorough wash in just 30 minutes and is suitable for loads of up to 4kg.

Whether you’re preparing a wash before bedtime or planning around your daily schedule, this flexible feature helps make laundry management more convenient. A digital countdown indicator allows you to monitor programme progress.
8kg Capacity and 1400rpm Spin Speed
With an 8kg washing capacity and a maximum spin speed of 1400rpm, the Bosch WGE03408GB is designed to handle everyday washing requirements efficiently.

Does the Bosch WGE03408GB have a quick wash programme?
Yes, this Bosch Series 2 washing machine includes Super Quick 15/30 programmes for smaller laundry loads. The 15-minute programme can wash up to 2kg of lightly soiled clothing, while the 30-minute option accommodates up to 4kg. These programmes are particularly useful when you need to freshen up everyday garments quickly.
What is SpeedPerfect on the Bosch WGE03408GB?
SpeedPerfect is a time-saving function that can reduce washing programme durations by up to 65% while maintaining effective cleaning results.
