The AEG PO7001SPT built-in single electric oven combines steam-assisted cooking, intelligent guidance and flexible programmes to help you prepare everything from everyday meals to more advanced recipes. Its spacious 72-litre capacity provides plenty of room for larger dishes, while the A++ energy rating supports efficient cooking performance.

SteamCrisp® cooking for crisp and juicy results

SteamCrisp® combines 25% steam with 75% traditional heat, distributing steam throughout the cooking process. This helps food remain crisp on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside, making it suitable for baking, roasting and reheating.

SteamCrisp® can make chicken up to 4% more tender and salmon up to 20% more tender compared with cooking in a non-steam oven. These results are based on external testing comparing chicken and salmon cooked with and without a combination of steam and hot air.

A 950ml water tank supports the oven’s steam functions and helps provide consistent results across a variety of dishes.

CookSmart Touch and connected oven control

The award-winning 4-inch CookSmart Touch display features intuitive swipe navigation, placing the oven’s functions and settings within easy reach. Favourite recipes can be saved, while compatible recipes can be sent from a smartphone or tablet directly to the oven using the AEG app and a Wi-Fi connection.

CookSmart Touch can also help reduce energy use through smarter pre-heating and residual heat cooking compared with previous AEG ovens without CookSmart Touch. Over-the-air updates allow compatible new features to be added over time. Updates require the AEG app, an AEG account, oven registration and a Wi-Fi connection.

AI TasteAssist and Assisted Cooking

AI TasteAssist transforms compatible traditional recipes for steam cooking. Send a web recipe to the oven through the AEG app and the system can optimise the cooking time, temperature and oven function.

Assisted Cooking provides automatic settings for programmes such as roasting, reheating and dough proving. Assisted Dishes offers step-by-step guidance for cooking meat, fish, vegetables, plant-based dishes and baked recipes, helping you select suitable settings for consistent results.

With 30 cooking functions, including steam-assisted options, the AEG PO7001SPT provides the flexibility required for everyday meals, baking, roasting and specialist cooking.

Fan-controlled defrosting uses room-temperature air to defrost delicate foods, including cream cakes, in half the time. Residual heat cooking uses the heat remaining inside the cavity to complete the cooking process and help reduce energy consumption.

Pyrolytic self-cleaning

The pyrolytic cleaning function heats the oven to a high temperature, turning grease and food residue into ash. Once the programme has finished and the oven has cooled, the remaining ash can be wiped away with a damp cloth, reducing the effort required for regular maintenance.

The grey enamel cavity, removable side grids and Easy Entry shelf supports further simplify everyday use and cleaning.

Temperature probe and practical safety features

The included temperature probe monitors cooking progress and automatically switches the oven off when the selected temperature has been reached. This helps provide greater control when preparing meat, fish and other temperature-sensitive dishes.

SoftMotion™ provides smooth and quiet door closing, while the Isofront® Plus triple-glazed door features a heat-reflective coating. A child lock prevents unintended use of the electronic touch controls.

The automatic cooling fan starts when the oven is switched on, helping to cool the electronic components and external surfaces. A rear interior light and LED digital display provide clear visibility and cooking information at a glance.

Efficient built-in oven performance

The AEG PO7001SPT has an A++ energy rating and an energy efficiency index of 61.2. Energy consumption is 0.93kWh per cycle in conventional mode and 0.52kWh per cycle in fan mode.

The oven operates across a temperature range of 30°C to 300°C, with a maximum oven power of 3390W and a maximum grill power of 2300W. Its operating noise level is 48dB.

Installation details

This built-in oven requires a hardwired electrical connection only. The appliance dimensions are 594 x 596 x 569mm, with built-in dimensions of 590 x 560 x 550mm. Total electrical loading is 3390W. Fuse rating, cord length and detailed clearance requirements are not provided and should be confirmed before installation.
