AEG NBR7P731SB 7000 MealAssist built-in electric oven combines SteamCrisp®, pyrolytic cleaning and a spacious 72L capacity with A++ efficiency.

Finished in gloss black, this advanced AEG single oven offers 23 cooking functions, intuitive CookSmart Touch operation and Assisted Cooking guidance. A temperature probe, telescopic runners, two chrome wire shelves, a cake tray, a dripping pan and a trivet are also included.

SteamCrisp® Cooking for Crisp and Juicy Results

SteamCrisp® combines 25% steam with 75% traditional heat to bake, roast and reheat food. The continual circulation of steam and hot air helps keep dishes crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside.

External testing found chicken to be up to 4% more tender and salmon up to 20% more tender when cooked using combined steam and hot air compared with cooking in a non-steam oven.

CookSmart Touch Control and Connected Cooking

The award-winning 4-inch CookSmart Touch display puts the oven’s functions at your fingertips. Its intuitive swipe navigation provides clear cooking guidance and simple access to settings.

CookSmart Touch can help reduce energy use through smarter pre-heating and residual heat cooking. Over-the-air updates also allow new features to be added over time.

Energy-saving comparison is based on previous AEG ovens without CookSmart Touch. Over-the-air updates require the AEG app, an account, oven registration and a Wi-Fi connection.

Built-in connectivity also allows you to control the oven using a compatible smartphone or tablet.

AI TasteAssist Recipe Optimisation

AI TasteAssist transforms traditional recipes by incorporating steam. Send a compatible web recipe to the oven through the AEG app and the feature will optimise the cooking time, temperature and oven function.

AI TasteAssist can import recipes in Italian, French, German, English, Swedish and Dutch. Support for Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Norwegian and Danish was scheduled to be added throughout 2025. The AEG app is available from the App Store and Play Store.

Assisted Cooking and 23 Versatile Functions

Assisted Cooking provides recommended settings and automatic options for tasks including roasting, reheating and dough proving. The Assisted Dishes feature offers step-by-step guidance for preparing meat, baked dishes, plant-based meals, fish and vegetables.

The 23 main oven functions are AirFry Plus, Bottom, Bread Baking, Defrost, Dehydrating, Dough Proving, Grill, Heat Save Fan, Hot Air, Hot Air and Top, Hot Air and Top and Bottom, Hot Air Bottom and Steam, Humidity Low, Keep Warm, Plate Warming, Preserving, Refresh, Reheating, Roast, Slow Cooking, Stew, Top, and Top and Bottom.

Pyrolytic Self-Cleaning

The pyrolytic cleaning programme uses a high temperature to turn grease and food residue into ash. Once the cycle has finished and the oven has cooled, the remaining ash can be wiped away with a damp cloth.

Temperature Probe and Convenient Oven Features

The temperature probe monitors the core temperature of your food and automatically switches the oven off when the selected temperature is reached.

SoftMotion™ provides smooth and quiet door closing, while the Isofront® Plus triple-glazed door features a heat-reflective coating. A child lock prevents unintended use of the oven controls.

The cooling fan starts automatically when the oven is switched on, helping to cool the electronic components and external surfaces. Residual heat cooking uses heat remaining inside the oven to complete the cooking process and help reduce energy consumption.

Fan-controlled defrosting uses room-temperature air to defrost delicate food, including cream cakes, in half the time. The LED digital display provides clear information at a glance.

Installation details

This oven is designed for built-in installation in a 590 x 560 x 550mm oven housing. The appliance dimensions are 594 x 596 x 569mm. It requires a hardwired electrical connection with a total electrical loading of 3390W. Fuse rating, voltage and supply lead details are not provided and should be confirmed before installation.
