Introducing the Smeg PM6743R Mixed Fuel Hob – the ultimate combination of style, performance, and versatility. Featuring a sleek black glass finish with stunning copper accents, this hob is part of Smeg’s elegant Dolce Stil Novo collection, designed to make a statement while delivering top-notch functionality. Measuring 75cm wide, this hob boasts four cooking zones – two powerful gas burners and two advanced induction zones – providing the flexibility to cook with either gas or induction technology. With Smeg’s MultiZone feature, the two induction zones can be merged into one large cooking area, ideal for accommodating big pans or griddles. Additionally, the hob includes a dedicated flex induction zone that automatically detects pan size and position for optimum energy efficiency.

The PM6743R is equipped with practical and user-friendly controls for everyday use. The gas burners are operated via stylish front-mounted rotary knobs, while the induction zones can be easily adjusted using responsive touch sliders. Offering nine power levels and a booster function for intense heat, Smeg’s Quick Start feature speeds up cooking time, while the warming function keeps food hot until ready to serve.

Safety and convenience are paramount in this hob’s design. It features a child lock, automatic switch-off in case of a boiling over or overheating, and residual heat indicators to alert you when zones are still too hot to touch. With the Pause function, you can temporarily halt cooking and resume later at the same settings. Built to last, this hob features a durable ceramic Eclipse glass surface that can withstand high temperatures and everyday wear and tear. The gas burners are supported by robust cast iron pan supports for added stability, and the ultra-rapid burner delivers a powerful 5kW for rapid boiling and searing.

The hob also includes the Auto-Vent 2.0 function, allowing it to wirelessly link to a compatible Smeg cooker hood. The hood will automatically adjust its extraction power based on the hob’s settings, ensuring a fresh cooking environment without the need for manual adjustments. Energy-conscious households will appreciate the Eco-Logic Advance system, which enables you to control the hob’s total power consumption according to your home’s electrical supply limits. This offers peace of mind and better control over your energy use.

For serious grillers, this hob comes with a dedicated grill function when used with Smeg’s optional GRILLPLATE and TPKPLATE accessories. This allows you to sear meat, fish, and vegetables to perfection on a non-stick surface without the need for an additional appliance.

Designed to seamlessly fit into modern kitchens, the Smeg PM6743R offers an ultra-low profile installation with a height of just 1mm, giving your worktop a sleek, contemporary look. Whether updating your current cooking setup or planning a new kitchen, this hob is the perfect solution for those who demand flexibility without sacrificing style. Experience the best of both gas and induction technology with the Smeg PM6743R Mixed Fuel Hob.
