Traditional Bordeaux Red Cooker Hood

The Kaiser A 6315 RotEm Eco Empire 60cm chimney cooker hood is a traditional wall-mounted model with a glossy Bordeaux Red enamel finish. Metallic and bronze detailing, together with the richly polished brass handle and trim, creates a distinctive focal point for a classic-style kitchen.

The Kaiser brand plate is positioned on the chimney, while the practical handle provides a convenient place to temporarily hook a utensil, oven mitt or kitchen towel while cooking.

Air Extractor and Odour Absorber Modes

The Kaiser A 6315 RotEm Eco can be installed in either air extractor mode or odour absorber mode to suit your kitchen layout.

Air Extractor Mode

Air extractor mode is recommended for maximum performance where external extraction is available. The metal grease filter captures fatty substances and other small particles from cooking vapours before the air is directed outside through the exhaust pipe.

Odour Absorber Mode

Odour absorber mode, also known as recirculation mode, is suitable when the cooker hood cannot be connected to an external ventilation system. The metal grease filter first captures grease and small particles. Odours and microparticles then pass through the activated charcoal filter before the purified air is returned to the kitchen.

Flexible Aluminium Corrugated Pipe

For exhaust installation, the cooker hood includes a lightweight aluminium corrugated pipe with a diameter of 150 mm. The pipe can be bent and extended to the required length and does not require additional fixing to secure it. An adaptor is also included for connection to pipes with a 120 mm conduit.

Long-Life Metal Grease Filter

The metal grease filter is made from stainless materials, including stainless steel and aluminium. During normal cooker hood operation, the grease filter should be cleaned every two months. It can be washed in a dishwasher or cleaned manually using mild detergent or liquid soap.

Activated Charcoal Filtration

The charcoal filter uses chemically treated activated carbon with a high absorption capacity. It can retain contaminating particles weighing more than five times the filter’s own weight and helps remove cooking smells, smoke and steam impurities. The charcoal filter is used when the cooker hood is installed in odour absorber or recirculation mode.

Installation details

This wall-mounted cooker hood can be used for extraction or recirculation. It measures 86.5 x 60.0 x 48.0 cm and includes a telescopic tube adjustable from 60.0 to 111.5 cm. It requires a 220 – 240 V, 50 Hz electrical supply and is supplied with a Type C plug, although hardwiring is recommended.
