How many cooking zones does the Barazza 1PMD95N have?

The Barazza 1PMD95N has five gas cooking zones: one 1 kW auxiliary burner, two 1.75 kW semi-rapid burners, one 3 kW rapid burner and one 4 kW double-ring burner.

What is the most powerful burner on the Barazza 1PMD95N?

The double-ring burner provides up to 4 kW of power. It is designed for fast heating, high-temperature cooking and larger pans, while the lower-powered burners are suitable for simmering and everyday cooking.

What is the Barazza 1PMD95N made from?

This model has a 4 mm thick black glass ceramic surface with cast iron pan supports. The dark glass finish gives the hob a clean, contemporary appearance and provides a smooth surface around the burners for easier cleaning.

What size is the Barazza 1PMD95N gas hob?

The Barazza 1PMD95N is designed for a 90 cm kitchen module and has an approximate overall width of 86 cm. This makes it suitable for kitchens requiring a wider five-burner cooking area.

What worktop cut-out does the Barazza 1PMD95N require?

The required installation cut-out is 83 x 48 cm. We recommend checking the available worktop space and installation requirements before ordering, particularly because this model is supplied as a built-in hob.

What are Flat Eco-Design burners?

The Barazza 1PMD95N uses low-profile Flat Eco-Design gas burners. Their streamlined shape complements the minimal glass surface while providing a practical selection of heat outputs for simmering, frying and rapid boiling.

Does the Barazza 1PMD95N have cast iron pan supports?

Yes. This model includes Soft-Touch cast iron pan supports and cast iron burner caps. Cast iron provides a solid, heat-resistant cooking surface that supports cookware securely during use.

How is the Barazza 1PMD95N controlled?

The hob is operated using front-mounted rotary controls. It also includes one-hand ignition, allowing the flame to be lit directly from the control knob without using a separate ignition button.

Does the Barazza 1PMD95N include a gas safety device?

Yes. The Barazza 1PMD95N includes a safety valve system designed to interrupt the gas supply if a burner flame is accidentally extinguished.

Is the Barazza 1PMD95N suitable for large pans?

Yes. Its wide five-burner layout and powerful 4 kW double-ring burner make it a good choice for larger cookware and meals requiring several pans. Pan size and positioning should still follow the manufacturer’s installation and operating guidance.

Is the Barazza 1PMD95N supplied in stainless steel?

No. Product code 1PMD95N refers to the black glass ceramic version of the Barazza Mood hob. Other finishes and closely related model numbers are available, so the full product code should be checked when ordering.

Are there any suitable alternatives to the Barazza 1PMD95N 90cm Gas Hob I could consider?

Yes, you could consider the Barazza 1PSP95 90cm Gas Hob as a more affordable same-brand, five-zone gas hob with flush or surface mounting and a powerful 3.8kW triple-ring burner, although it has a stainless-steel rather than black-glass finish. Alternatively, the Barazza 1PKM90N 90cm Gas Hob is a more premium black-glass option with five cooking zones, flush or surface mounting, cast-iron pan supports and a 4kW double-ring burner.
