Frequently Asked Questions About the HKB64341NL

How does StepPower work on the AEG HKB64341NL?
StepPower gives you nine defined heat settings rather than relying on visually judging the flame. You can select a level from 1 to 9, making it easier to return to the same heat setting when preparing familiar dishes.
How many cooking zones does the AEG HKB64341NL have?
The AEG HKB64341NL has four gas cooking zones, providing space for several pans at the same time. The hob has a maximum total gas power of 8.9kW.
Does the AEG HKB64341NL have Hob2Hood?
Yes. This model includes Hob2Hood®, which can wirelessly communicate with a compatible cooker hood. When you start cooking, the feature can activate the hood and automatically adjust functions such as fan speed according to your cooking activity.
Does the AEG HKB64341NL have a timer?
Yes. The hob includes a Minute Minder to help you keep track of cooking times. It provides a convenient reminder while you are preparing dishes, although it does not automatically switch off the gas burner when the time expires.
Does the AEG HKB64341NL have a flame safety device?
Yes. The AEG HKB64341NL uses thermocouple flame safety protection. If a flame goes out unexpectedly, the gas supply to that burner is automatically cut off.
Does the AEG HKB64341NL show when the hob is still hot?
Yes. Residual heat indicators let you know when the hob surface is still hot after cooking, providing a useful visual warning before you touch or clean the area.

Is the AEG HKB64341NL easy to clean?
The AEG HKB64341NL has a tempered glass surface with a textural matt black finish designed to resist fingerprints and make everyday cleaning easier. The gas-on-glass design also gives the hob a clean, contemporary appearance.

The hob measures 590mm wide by 520mm deep. The specified built-in dimensions are 40mm high by 560mm wide by 480mm deep, so we recommend checking your worktop cut-out and installation requirements before ordering.
Can the AEG HKB64341NL be converted to LPG?
Yes. The hob is supplied for natural gas G20 at 20 mbar and supports conversion to G30/G31 LPG using the additional injectors specified for the appliance. Gas installation and conversion should always be carried out by a suitably qualified engineer.
Are there any suitable alternatives to the AEG HKB64341NL 8000 Flamelight Gas On Glass 60cm Hob I could consider?
Yes, you could consider the AEG HKB64450NB 8000 Flamelight Gas On Glass Hob 60cm as a same-size alternative with a black glass finish while retaining four gas zones, FlameLight, StepPower and Hob2Hood. Alternatively, the AEG HKB75341NL 8000 Flamelight Gas On Glass Hob 75cm is a larger five-burner option with extra cooking space and a wok burner, while keeping the same AEG gas-on-glass format and key FlameLight features.
